Thanks for that Oldandconfused a job i need to do as i keep getting bonnet open light up on the instrument panel. |

I always spray the bonnet catch with white grease when ever I service a car,along with the door pins. Andy.

I nipped out and checked mine. Both catches were pretty gunged up so I gave them both a good clean out with brake cleaner and an old toothbrush. Then sprayed some WD40 in there afterwards. I'm going to make sure I do this on a periodic basis going forward.

Did the alarm thing some time ago but I now get the n/s catch sticking open, so I've now got a "tool" in the boot that I use to reset it
