United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Nara Bronze
Service Required in Message Centre

As above the service required message came up earlier in the week. Seeing as we are all on lockdown I thought I’d get all the oils and filters changed. I have used my IID tool to try and reset this message and it just won’t go away! Any ideas please. I have tried it both with engine running and just ignition on as I believe from memory you are supposed to have the engine off. This is on a 2010 3.6 TDV8 if it helps. I’m stumped! I’ve used the search facility and read all about oil dilution etc, but it’s fresh oil and filters, as I say stumped.
Any help or advice appreciated. Current: 2010 RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE

Have you looked in the IID manual that you can download off the Gap website? I know it’s in there for my L322 so should be there for a Sport too Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

I see you used to own 4.4 tdv8 L322. I went from a 2012 Sport to a 2011 4.4 tdv8 L322 and absolutely love it 😍 It’s more regal than the Sport was but both have been motors I never dreamt I would ever own so very grateful Bow down
I’ll have a look in the manual for you too Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Cheers pal that’s fabulous, I was just in the process of trawling the online manual! Saves some work.. Thumbs Up
Yes the 4.4 L322 was a fabulous car, I loved it too! I’d still have it now as mine was a 12MY one of the last but I needed some money and needs must. I just thought I’d try a sport out as I’ve had all the discos and FFRR too. I agree with you that the sport is not as refined as the FF, but still a great car. You’ve got to love the Green Oval to own these cars! Current: 2010 RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE

If you can’t get it to work either IID tool, I’m sure there’s a manual way, after all, it’s just Ford electrics underneath. I’m currently in the states and the Ford Explorer I’ve been driving has very familiar systems and switches!! 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Yes it’s an uncle Henry underneath! I’ve watched videos on you tube of opening bonnet and drivers door ign on and both gas and brake pedal down for 10 secs. Anything is worth a go.. Thumbs Up Current: 2010 RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE
