[For Sale] Side Step Brackets & Sills

I have just fitted replacement side steps to my 2010 RRS.

The kit from Turborevs had everything needed including the cut-out sills.

However I just fitted the steps to my existing brackets, so have the mounting brackets, sills and the fixings surplus to requirements.

It'll be quite a heavy and large box so postage might be quite expensive, so would prefer collection or a meet up when things improve.

£50 collected.

Hi, I was thinking of replacing my side steps and was looking at the Turborevs kit. What are they like for quality, and how easy are they to fit to the original brackets?

Quality was very good I thought.

Fitting to original brackets wasn't bad at all, I wire brushed mine to get them as clean as possible, then a liberal coating of copper grease to aid sliding the new ones on, and also offer further protection.

I didn't remove my sill, so making sure the rubber seal went under it was the only area that needed any patience.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue

I have just taken delivery of a new set of steps from turborevs as well,, looking quite good out of the box but not fitted them as yet. I was planning to replace everything,, brackets and sills as I have the time,,, also going to put a coat of Hammerite on the underside of them and the brackets as they do get the brunt of the weather. Planning to fit a compressor repair kit as well even though it works fine the dessicated must be past its best now. 2010 RRS, TDV8

I've had a set of the turborevs ones on mine for about 18 months. I would recommend the undersides are hammerited prior to fitting because mine have started to rust underneath. They are still fine though. Kev

Back to the original gist of the thread, I have been asked if I will split the sills from the brackets.

So yes, £25 for the sills and £25 for the brackets.

As a taster, if anyone wants to take the lot, and has the inclination to rub down the hammerite that was painted over the alloy edging on my original steps, and give them a fresh coat of paint, I'll throw them in as well.
