Moving into an SVR

As my 15plate 3.0d AB goes back today I am thinking of my next purchase. Have decided on an SVR but as I keep getting caught out by MY changes I am being more cautious this time.

I am looking at 68/19 plate, are there any significant changes around that time which would be preferable, or are they largely the same?

thanks, Mark ------------------------------------------------------------------

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

The original SVR sounded better and looked better. The vented bonnet look is so 1980s "Max Power". Good old Gerry... Whistle 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I also have a 2017 SVR and had it in to Land Rover recently to have the Apple Car Play software update installed for the InControl Pro. However was told that they couldn’t do it, seems there has been issues with the update on 2017 RR Sports and Land Rover are blocking the update until they can resolve/release a further update.

Anyone else aware of this or heard the same?

I bought a MY17 SVR in January and it had to go back for 2 weeks due to the latest update which had car play locking the sat nav up. They had to wipe the whole software install from scratch and then get LR HQ online with my car to install a patch to get it to work. Might be the reason they won’t do the updates at the moment.
