V8 brakes & T&S Norman

I had my annual service in March just before the enforced lockdown, I was actually Steve’s last customer. In that service it was noted that the front discs and pads had about 3k on them so I knew a change was on the horizon. I like my car but if one thing I could change it would be the brakes. I’m not a fast driver and occasionally tow a trailer so took Steve’s recommendation and had the V8 conversion with LR discs and pads.

Had then fitted today and drove carefully back home, then popped to Salisbury so already have done some 70 miles. I can feel the difference so once they’re bedded in properly it will be a well worth modification. I informed my insurer (Admiral) and there was no uplift in premium or a charge to add the change Thumbs Up . My tiny wheel wobble has now gone which I thought was warped discs anyway and the car turned 80k on the drive to the garage.

My thanks to Steve and George and a shout out to T&S Norman (https://www.tandsnorman.com/)

Steve. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Nice to hear another good report on T&S, I booked my car in there for ARB bushes and a transmission flush based on recommendations on here.
It's great to find a sensible local independent.
