Had a text today about "Land Rover Excess Protect", didn't have a clue what it was on about and wasn't clear on first read.

I have now found a bit on the LR website under Insurance that wasn't explained at all by the dealer, but is well worth bearing in mind if you are buying a new or used LR from a dealer.

They offer drive away insurance for 7 days, if you take this then, regardless of where you subsequently get insured, you get a years worth of this Excess protect, worth up to £250, to pay your excess, all you have to do is phone their number first.

So even if you don't need drive away insurance, take it........
