Going through renewal and A-Plan have quoted me a laughable £2,167.91 - more than double last yeards premium !! So much for their worth as a forum sponsor - ill post in their section seperately!

So, looking elsewhere Direct Line offered circa £600 but ask questions about the tracker fitted. They give options as:

- Land Rover Track Star
- Land Rover Watch Cat 5
- Land Rover Watrch Tqr

My car is a 2019 RRS Autobiography Dynamic. Any idea what tracker is fitted as im reading lots of different things on line!!

Ok, after a LOT of calling around my car has InControl "Secure" which is a CAT6 tracker.

Direct Line accept this. They dont list it in the drop down for some reason but the guy I spoke to knew straightaway I was calling about an RRS!!

Just told to proceed wtih their quote and upload the tracker certificate.

The certificate can be downloaded from a desktop PC by logging into the InControl website.

Magi, yes I am with direct line, have been for 3 years, 2017 AB v6, I did exactly what you have said, they accepted it no problem. Only issue is if you have a claim they supposedly can try to do repairs at their authorised centres with some second hand parts so be wary, if I’m ever unlucky I will insist it’s repaired at a JLR approved body shop.
