I wonder if it was just human error or something didn't quite work as it should. Looks like the airborne of equivalent of forgetting you've got a trailer on the back and turning a corner too narrow...

I don't think everyone got out, I read somewhere that 11 escaped but it had a complement of marines on board. I don't know how many that particular model carries (40?)

But they can swim.... but only the us Special Forces use it that way.... they land on water, boat powers in the back and they they take off and empty the water
