I don't think everyone got out, I read somewhere that 11 escaped but it had a complement of marines on board. I don't know how many that particular model carries (40?)

There is the probably apocryphal story about the RAF Chinook that filled with 40 Iraqi prisoners of war in Gulf War 1 and then took off with the tailgate open (The Chinook version of Air Conditioning). not part of the team However, I do get to fly in the back which I do alot and there is nothing like it in the world.
