Possibly upgrading to Range Rover Sport 2013 onwards Advice

Hi All,
We currently have a 2011 Range Rover Sport Stormer which comes with full Autobiography kit plus 22"Turbine wheels (my addition) in Black (or whatever colour it is) with black leather.
Owned the car for 3 years and its been great, the odd part to fix here and there, but overall its been a great car.
Road tax is £550 per year which is a bit steep as the wife only uses it for 2-3000 miles per year.
Looking at 2013 (newer style) onwards the road tax is £260 and I assume the fuel consumption must be better.
If we do change we don't have the biggest budget as I have my car too (BMW 3 series) so we would be looking around £20000 area. All I see are higher mileage models which I would assume must have been reliable as it has done the miles.
We looked at Mercedes and the similar size is the GLE model, but the wife would like to remain Range Rover.
Looking for any advice from those in the know.
Thanks in advance .

Heres our current one

You’ll be lucky to even get a high mileage one for 20k,I’ve seen them round the 25k low spec ones with high mileage.I would wait probably another 12 month as the prices seem to be dropping very fast on the L494 now Andy.

Are there any pitfalls with higher mileage ones?

Buy one with plenty of history & possible receipts for work that’s been done. Andy.

Of course, if you're only doing 2-3000 miles a year, high miles on the vehicle isn't that important.

Condition, condition, condition. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
