I want to know about this also. It's bloody annoying when it starts banging against the trim

This has always annoyed me as well but as I don't have rear seat passengers very often I just leave mine plugged in now. The strange thing is my n/s one would hang over the edge of the seat o.k but the o/s would always fall down the side.

Oh god yes, that! Spent ages wondering where an annoying buzzy rattle was coming from before I realised the belt had decided to try and hide itself down the side of the seat! Hm.. *looks at 3D printer* I wonder if little restraints (like the early cars) could be made up and attached somewhere. 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S |

My old prefacelift RRS1 had these on it, for some reason L/R decided to do away with them on the facelift one.

As I hadn't noticed a problem, I was puzzled by this whole post until I saw the last post and realised that LR must have done away with these retaining clips. Too often businesses fix what doesn't need fixing. If it works leave it alone! Robin

L/R proably saved themselves 10p a seat by doing away with them.

This drives me mad, the rear ones buzzing away, i now clip them into the other end to stop this. But also the passenger side front one sometimes turns with the metal clip towards the placstic trim and rattles away all the time. Its not what you expect from a so called prestige brand. |

After an 80 mile drive today, this is how my belts were resting even though not in the little clips. No apparent noise at all.
