Hi I’m currently on 255/55/19 and the ride is so much better and I imagine much less painful for the cars suspension components (wishbones and bushes etc) I was lucky to buy a second hand set of 19inch wheels that already had this size tyre on and was at first worried if it would be ok to use but went with it and I’m really pleased I did 👍👍 I still have a set of stormer 20s I intend to refurb and I will put 275/50/20 which fil out the arches perfectly |

Should be fine as discovery 4s run on this size without issue, I use to run a 45 profile on 20 inch rims so going up by a tad should be ok , ride quality will be way better 👍👍 |

Thanks Alfie, as for the original posting I currently run 255/55x19 Goodyear Duratracs and have no problems. The 20" rims that it came on are going back on just deciding whether to go road tyre for good weather months and keep the 19s for winter as they have 10mms across all 4 tyres. |
