Changing engines Chris? Cool 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I fancy a 5.0 too but I do way too many miles - it's bad enough at mid 20s average. AT mid teens (or lower) the old credit card wouldn't know which way it was going! Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Had my L320 S/C about 6 years never bothered much about fuel but reckon the average is around 13/14 mpg. in the real world, any more and it's being driven like Miss Daisy. Rolling with laughter

Thereโ€™s a takeoff from both vents, I fitted aftermarket SUPERCHARGED worded vents to my car and it came with the one side blanked off. Luckily the aftermarket item were obviously made in the same Chinese factory as the original and I could swap the required bits over. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Had mine exactly a year now and in first 7000 miles (mainly short journeys 4-10 miles) have averaged 17 MPG. It's not often driven hard but then again not that steadily either. Worst I've seen for instantaneous MPG reading under hard acceleration was 2 MPG! Rolling with laughter There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley

Thanks for the input, i was hoping that it was only fed from one side, so looks like i am going to have to have a think in which direction i wish to go Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

A friend has recently bought a 4 year old, 60k mile L405 FFRR 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography. Had a look last night. Fabulous bit of kit with a good lot of toys/options including the Meridian sound system. A heck of a lot of vehicle for ยฃ38k.

It got me thinking... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
