I have now had this conversation with 2 local dealers about why I should pay for oil services because I do short journeys 6 times at least. Most recently I did short journeys because for a whole year the car kept breaking down with a wiring harness issue cause by JLR doing a recall on the car which then took a year for them to rectify ! Some of the short journeys were a few meters as it kept stopping dead in traffic !
