purchase price

Hi Guy's.

Looking at a lot of for sale adverts on different web sites lately, with view to purchase.
Quite a few of the cars i look at state original purchase price of £ xyz.zz
I know you can get the built sheet from TOPix via vin number.

So he lies my question: Where do they get the original purchase price from?

Thanks in advance.

If the “purchase price” includes the price the customer paid, plus any dealer contribution, finance contribution and manufacturer contribution then that would = RRP at the time of sale, which shouldn’t be too hard for the dealer network to calculate given the spec sheet. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

If you had the pricing sheet from that model year you could calculate it. But then they may just have the original sales invoice from the supplying dealer. I always sell mine with that invoice included in the paperwork along side servicing invoices etc.

And then, there’s a lot of BS out there too!! So take with a pinch of salt if no evidence of original price is supplied. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

surely the original purchase price is not relevant, the price it is going to cost you is the key factor, to fit with your budget. Current: 2010 RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE
