Do have one its a one with the key card you have to carry. They reckon there really good for car jacking & the likes.. if you forget to take it out though 30 yards & its reported nicked.. Not sure what the difference is with one on or off tbh had the same broker from day one & he just sorts it out |

Land Rover Watch is a rebranded Auto-txt/RDM system. I didn't realise this when I ordered it or I would never have chosen the system. A friend of mine had auto-txt in his TDV6 and it was He had his mobile as the unlock 'key' which you can also do. I've got the tags which works better when you use the PTI BT system as well. The tags are thick (0.8cm) thick credit card size.(pain to carry around) This is a Cat 5 requirement against car jacking. The tags work on bluetooth so that when the tags are in the car it pairs and confirms you are the driver. (theoretically)......problem is it takes too long to pair and if you start the car too quickly after getting in, the system starts beeping (loud!) and you get a call from the control centre asking if your car has been nicked. Jag and Aston Martin are also using the system. Theoretically if you call the control centre you should be able to pair your mobile phone to the system.

Stick to Tracker I've used them for years with no problems. I use Tracker Echo and once you get used to carrying the card in your pocket its ok. TDV6 - gone

cheers guys I will look at Tracker, the wife has the basic one on her "go-kart".... sorry Clio182. By the way, just had the most stupid telecon with Land Rover Insurance (Royal Sun A ).... the guy spent ages saying he could find the TDV8 and he'd have to speak to the underwritters - great advert for Land Rover then!!
