Map update

My Sat Nav has been nagging me for a while to update the map. I have a 2019 P400e. The process is : log on to the LR site (using a computer), down load the 23 GB yes GB file to a USB then plug in car and follow instructions.

First, the file took about 6 hours to download and that’s on a 150mb FTTP connection. The first download failed. So did it again.

Anyway I now have no maps on my system because it failed to load, see photos. Anyone got a solution. Going to the dealers will be soooo painful. 2018/68 RRS PHEV - Indus (sold)

New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

A 2019 car has a totally different navigation system to a 07 plate car I'm afraid.

Cheers

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

I have updated my maps probably more than a dozen times without any problems.
Did you keep the car stationary while starting the process.

Once you get to the stage where it is saying x% complete then you can drive off.

I am just downloading that map version today and will see how it goes. There was on version awhile back that was corrupt but HERE sorted it within 48 hours. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

Yes I do, it has been on the new Discovery from it's launch in 2017.

There is a map update roughly every month and when I started the update number was in the 80's and is now 103.

I have just finished downloading 103 but not sure when I will have a half hour in the Disco to install it before Christmas.

Once I have tried it I will post back here. Thumbs Up 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled
