My 2011 R R Sport suffering the same problem.Keeps cutting out after 5 miles or 40 miles. Local Indy fitted new LP fuel pump and battery.Still cuts out, told me to refill with good fuel and see if it is cured.Still cuts out.sometimes no warning lights, sometimes a few.I am thinking dirty Erg valves, dirty Maff sensor .Not sure where crank positioning sensor is located.Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Ian North Wales. |

I've heard this can be an issue if the earth strap is corroded. Kev

The as others have said, this would be the first thing to check (ie change), if it was me. It's one of the few things that can cause the engine to stop (ECU thinks it's no longer turning). Other things like EGR valves, MAP sensors can/will cause rough running, but not stop it. |
