Windscreen Noise

Alright guys Smile

So my windscreen area is making a noise similar to how the panoramic roof is when its gone slightly out of line.

Has anyone had an RRS with a badly fitted windscreen, that would definitely be a new fault for me if it turned out to be true!

Thanks Smile Non JLR Vehicle

Talking to my dealer who I trust 100% about my SVR steaming up inside he told me they regularly reseal the front screens on RRS’s. Dont know what the process is and if the seal is replaced but worth asking the question

Certainly common on Disco 5's , I had leaks and there is a common fault of lack of gunge being applied in the factory. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

All glass will start to condensate if its cold out or if I have passengers, as if the A/C cant deal with the humidity.

My re-circulation hood doesn't work 100% as it should when pressing the recirc button, it gets stuck at times so the dealer thinks that's the cause, and its a dash out job to replace half of the heater box.

Its ok most of the time but in some cases Ive had to pull over when the side windows were fogged up so much and I couldnt get the heating and ventilation to sort it for me, had to open all the doors and sit for a bit until it all cleared up.

Carlos50, Do you happen to have a condensation issue like this: https://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic54137.html

Trying to determine if I also have a windscreen seal issue as my condition continues to happen and I haven’t really been in cold / damp weather yet.

Mine's going into the dealer for them to look at it.

The noise could also come from the a-pillar cover, maybe they can check this also.

Does look like the A-Pillar has been moved so will look there lol

And thanks

Financials aside- the P525 in the RRS is my pick of the engines!!! Wish I'd figured that out sooner!

Wonder what the new 4.4 BMW V8 will bring - probably MHEV of some sort! Non JLR Vehicle
