I know there was an older post about the product and some stories of early teething issues. Has anyone had more recent install and experiences and could pass thoughts or comments?

I have just purchased an SVR with a Ghost. All working well, no issues.
Only complaint I have is that the remote start can not be used.

You’re timing is spooky...had one on mine for the last two years without issue....a couple of months ago car then had a slight issue whereby something in the car was triggering the gearbox lock at low speed...
(Under 3mph)

JLR had the car in and refused to look at it until the Ghost was removed.. after which the problem disappeared...

Something in the car was creating a power loss...the Ghost was resetting and rearming thinking it was going through an ignition cycle..and hence throwing the gearbox lock on....

Bit of a nightmare and had to go through the start up cycle all over again... I understand that JLR vehicles don’t like spurious signals through the CAN network...

They now wire them up in a different way so that the Ghost is not on the main CAN network...Ghost rewired mine differently and it’s been faultless ever since....

The Ghost itself it faultless, does exactly what it says on the box,,plenty of choice
for the code you require to use, and without it your going no where..

Highly recommend both the system and the installer..

Yep. I asked about this and they told me they stopped doing it that way for that reason. No way to have remote start work and have ghost

Yeah, or supposed too. I had a TDV8 prior to the SVR and loved the times heater. Was hoping to use the remote startup to warm the car before getting in but you can not use the remote start if you have Ghost fitted

does what it says on the tin for my Audi S4 Avant

still it won't stop them coming for the car, they don't know its on, but you also have to question if you want them to hang round and/or pop back in to the house with the wife and kids to ask for the code
