How do you program a new TPMS-sensor for RRS L494 2014

You don't need to, just fit it to the wheel leave it for 15 mins then go for a 10min drive above 20mph it will automatically programme it's self.

Not quite what the owners handbook say's but L/R do complicate things a bit.

When I’ve fitted them in the past it’s just a case of fitting them & driving off,,one thing to remember is their is 2 types though Andy.

I could be thinking of changing wheel position or fitting spare.

I’ve rotated my wheels in the past without problems,as for spare it doesn’t show you on dash the pressure but I once let the air out of mine just to see what happens & it came up on dash,,spare wheel low pressure or something along those lines.

I guess in either case at least the OP doesn't need to have it programmed by a dealer at great expense.
