2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

Why not to fit 23” alloys.

Had this in today,front left tyre keeps losing air

Removed wheel & found this

Then sanded paint off to reveal this crack in alloy

Not a real SVR Overfinch,,it’s a lookalike

How did they take the bad news?. Not everyone knows about the thoughts behind the size of alloys/tyres = strength & comfort, but they’ll find out eventually 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

No idea,the only thing Overfinch about it is the wheels & badges,apart from that it’s a my14 sdv6 with SVR bumpers & wings. Andy.

I bet a new wheel is probably in the region of £900.

No he's kept the same 285/35r23's on,Overfinch told him to run them at 48psi .I tod the customer that's why its probably split because when its hit a pothole the tyre is too hard & that's why its split,i took the rear off the same side & that is slightly buckled but not split. Andy.

2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey

Be careful the 22" rims that came with my RRS s/c did not leak. 2 Wheels proved almost impossible to balance.
It turned out that both wheels had 2 cracks that were found when putting weights on the inside of the wheels.
This could have led to a whole piece letting go and heavens knows what that may have caused.
For Highway use now have 20" with 275/55 A/S tyres(lots of sidewall) and for out in the bush 19" with 275/55 A/T tyres. 2006 4.2 S/C with Tow Pack, Side Steps, DRL's, 19" & 20" wheels, additional 110 ltr Fuel Tank Roof Rack and performance mods.

1952 Rover 75 (Cyclops) First Car !!! Fond memories -was restored-good for 93mph.
