Brembo Discs & Pads

Guys.

EuroCarParts are doing a 50% off on items at the moment. Thought it would be a good time to change my pads and discs.

I dont have Brembo calipers on my 2013 RRSport. Can i still use Brembo discs and pads with the stock calipers?

Cheers

brembo sell pads/discs for common family cars etc.

You just need to be sure you are ordering the normal components rather than the uprated system

Using your reg number should help

Thanks mate.

Yep used my reg number on the site and that’s what it came up with in the links. I assume TRW is just the standard callipers?

Cheers

Chaps.

I picked up the Brembo discs and pads. However. On looking at the front brembo pads would I not expect to see them with a cable for the wear marker? or does the range not do it in this way? Im worried I have got the wrong pads even though I put my reg number in.

The links for the pads is above in my original post.

You need to re-use your old one. It just clips onto the pads. Don't lose the little metal clip. Kev

Or if you really want to fit a new one, you can get one from ECP.

You just need to drop the wheel arch liner to connect. Kev

Ohhhhhhhh I see. Thanks mate. Was just worried I had got the wrong thing.

Changed discs and pads on my TT's and Q5's loads and first time doing the range. Still learning.

Thanks mate. ===========================================

If you have worn yours down so the warning light has come on the n you need a new wire,if not spray it with wd40 where it clips in to the pad as they sometimes snap with them being brittle plastic. Andy.

Thanks mate.

No wear sensor is not worn down. Dear put new pads on the front before I picked it up. However I’m changing the discs and want fresh pads on new discs. Wear sensor should be ok. ===========================================
