2012 sport no power on passenger side

Hi everybody I’ve recently purchased the car and noticed the front and rear passenger doors are not locking/unlocking since then I’ve noticed the windows on passenger side are not working either plus the mirror isn’t folding in on passenger side and the indicator on the door not flashing.i have checked every fuse in the fuse box and all are good
So I’ve replaced the door locks on both doors. The passenger side front door loom and door control module
I’ve put a code reader on today and I’m getting codes
U0200 lost communication with door control module B -permanent
U2101 control module configuration incompatible -permanent

Does anybody have any ideas of what this fault could be??

Second one suggests that a module isn’t the same engineering standard as it should be, for example fitting a LR4 door module on a RRS. If nothing works on that side then it sounds like a connector is not installed correctly. Drop the glovebox door and look at the connectors, there’s some on the front, some on the back and some on the bottom edge. After that check the connectors on the inside bottom of the A pillar and also check the earths are clean and tight. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

U2101-00 Car config data transmitted by CAN does not match adaptive damping system control module internal configuration.

Carry out the new module software installation procedure using the manufacturers approved diagnostic system. Clear DTC and reset.

Hi mate thanks for that info on replacing the module I just gave the part number and presumed it would be like for like replacement.do you have any idea where I could get the sort of software from which would help me better in searching these faults.ive checked all fuses in the glovebox and physically dropped the fuse box out to check all connections which all look good

Not going to pretend to be auto electrician, but might be worth checking this connector behind fuse box, Pin No. 26 Yellow /Red wire or pick it up at door plug/connector as appears to be feed to door module, only a suggestion.

Cheers

By any chance does anybody know where I could find a diagram of the wires I should be testing and what voltages/continently I should be getting on the wires? Would be a massive help

The problem is that you need so many diagrams to ID all the wires and I’ve not found a 2012 wiring download that has everything.

Can you list everything individually that’s not working as that will help. The mirror for instance is a separate circuit to the window but both earth through the door module to an earth stud on the bottom of the A pillar.

There’s so many circuits that it must be a bad connector somewhere and the only one I can think of (other than Col suggestion) that would control the circuits on the passenger side is one to the CJB and the console to main body harness.

Do you have a sunroof? Have you checked for damp carpets under the Matt? 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

So everything I’ve noticed not working so far is
No locks working on passenger side front and rear doors
No windows working on passenger side front and rear doors, still don’t work off main switch on drivers door
No power fold mirror on passenger side
No indicator flashing on passenger side door
No puddle light on passenger side front and rear door
When I lock the car only driver side locks no mirrors come in and get a beep after about 2 seconds

The car does have a sunroof yes, I lifted the carpet in passenger foot well yesterday and there was a little water there, the carpet itself was bone dry and when I say a little water I mean very minimal

Hope this helps

Have you checked all the plug/connectors behind the lower kick panel on the passengers side "A" post, as every thing which is not working appears to be connected to the main harness under there. Not sure it will be a door module as both N/S/F and N/S/R would have had to have failed.

Cheers
Col

Agree with Col, I doubt it’s a door module, I think you need to take out the kick panel and lift the carpet and check all connections for corrosion etc.

Lots of reports of people saying their carpets were dry but as soon as they pull the carpet back they find a Censored load of it. The carpets can be an inch thick in places and the water can run behind the foam. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

So I’ve taken the kick trim off this morning and lifted the carpet front and rear passenger sides.i found two little puddles of around say a 5ml syringe so not very much at all.ive visible inspected the loom in the door well and can’t see any signs of corrosion or any damage to any of the wires.im stuck on what to try next now.

The fact there is any water there isn’t particularly good.

I think the next step is to test a single circuit. If you find a fault in one circuit I suspect you will find all the faults. The indicators are nice and easy, have you got a fluke or equivalent multi meter?

All you would need to do is pop the indicator out and test the pos to earth for 12v (you could do this with both terminals in the connector and the pos terminal to a chassis earth) with the hazard lights on.

I can probably find a diagram for indicators. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Out of interest, have you checked your rear passenger tail lights? 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Mate if you could find any diagram at all would be a big help.ill give the indicator idea a go later on and see what I find.as far as the rear passenger light I’ve checked everything visually and it’s all working fine bar the indicator on the passenger side door.ive unplugged the rear light to and reconnected it but still all the same.
