Hey Guys,

I've had this before on other RRS'es and forgotten what it was but;

Does anyone else get a faint metallic pinging noise from the rear (possibly axle) area when driving off from standstill?

Just noticed it with the radio off car has only done 500 odd miles but was just wondering if that was a normal-ish noise I think I had an SDV8 used to do it and they said it was the rear diff?

think it was the fact that throttle applied slightly "as" you move off it was the throttle application not actually moving off that did it

My 17 V8SC used to have a very faint metallic ping from the dash area when applying the brakes. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
