Oil Leak?

I've noticed a patch of oil recently on the drive so had a look under the car today and there seems to be a small leak

Anyone else seen this? I'm worried the dealer won't be able to look at it for weeks so is it ok to keep driving?

I've posted over on the disco site as well in case they have any ideas. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

The parts (an oil seal) should be in Tuesday apparently. I'm really missing the car Sad

I managed to swap the Freelander that Enterprise gave me for a RRS, its an 09 HSE which looks like its had a very hard 12 months+ of life/abuse. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

What dealer got your car? Someone you dealt with before?

Lancaster Land Rover in Welwyn Garden City. They carried out the MY10 recall on it a couple of months ago. They seem good and keep phoning me with updates.

I should have got it towed to Lookers Park Royal who I'll be using for servicing but I wasn't sure how far the AA would take it. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

I'm still without the car and I'm starting to really miss it now Big Cry
They need to order another part apparently before they can refit the gearbox.

Its annoying only putting a small amount of fuel in the Enterprise car each day. It came to me on empty and I don't exactly want to give it back with too much more! Each day I hope will be the last day. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

If you don't ask you don't get Smile

It was Enterprise that offered when I first picked up the Freelander that if they could get a RRS would I want to swap. It then only took a couple of days of me pestering them to make them find me one! WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Enterprise have given us a Disco - fairly new but had a very hard life.

Lancaster Welwyn, on the other hand, have had our RRS for two days to deal with warranty fault number 14 and very sheepishly admitted today that they haven't even driven it into to the workshop to look at it yet - after trying to use the old "we are still updating the software" excuse. It was even booked in by LR Customer Services for them to deal with - they are apparently still "thinking about the problem" before tackling it. Just shows Warranty Land Rover job = not urgent as LR already has the cash for the car. Very glad we insisted LR give us a loaner as I knew the "it will only take a couple of days to fix" would be proven to be complete bull.

Singe

Don't you go complaining too hard Singe or they might put yours in front of mine in the queue! Very Happy Mine has been there since last Tuesday. Censored

I'm pretty disappointed with the condition of the 2 enterprise cars I've had. Both have been over a year old (not itself a problem) but both have been very tatty and filthy inside and out. I really don't like driving it. I'd be happier with ford focus if it was new and clean. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

The cars that they give to LR customers are all supplied to Enterprise by LR themselves. 1 I got was SOOOO dirty I had to wash it when I got it home so I could see out the windows and mirrors. It looked like the RRS I had for the Land Rover Experience at the end of the day it was that covered in mud. Id have been embarrassed handing a car back to ANY company in that state!! Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.
