I have recently bought a RRS HST TDV8 2008 and love it however the rear screens don't work as they is no option for DVD or rear screen entertainment on the front touch screen?!?!?. I have looked at the diagnostic menu and this states there are none configured!

Anyone got any advice or tips of what to do next? Or what the problem could be?

they are lost likely after market screens. (quite common).
Post a pic and someone will confirm.

Have a look where the rear seat passnegers feet would be, for any DVD players or wires

Or another option is the dealer fit Roosen screens which they used to fit at vast expense

Thanks For your helps guys. The pics attached show ab6 disc holder in the boot the wires under the drivers seat and the rear headbreat with screw and the controls on the door.

Yeah there aftermarket ones have you got a remote/headphones with them looks like a dvd slot at the top

Hi no there is no remote and there is no slot at the top it looks more like a infra red line (if that makes sense)

If you think they use Infrared , get some of these headphones

Thanks for that info. With out sounding stupid how do the headphones make the screens work?

If the units are not working have a look at the rear lighter to see if that works you need to know where the power has been taken and that’s the nearest point or somewhere in the centre cubby if it’s not working check the fuses in the fuse box T front

If there power to disc changer sorry see if that turns on but I think the veba ones need a remote to work them as that’s the only way I could make those screens work in my disco 2

Hi! I’m having the same issue after changing my head unit due to damaged touch screen. Had to reload the OS but am missing the “rear entertainment” option.
All original. Is there perhaps a different OS (or recover dvd) I need? - sorry to hijack the thread.
