May be a bit leggy perhaps? (no affiliation to the seller BTW)

That looks like a reasonable punt. Price is ok and lots of stuff has been done.

I sold my TDV8 with 175k miles on it, and a big file of service info, for £5k so I think it's not a bad price.
Miles are not a problem if there is a real history with it. A book of service stamps is not a history. A file of receipts is. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Go for a TDV8
Don’t drive a 5.0 supercharged or you will want that one lol 😂

Just drove an older 4.2 supercharged, and i want one now! Luckily this particular one had knocking suspension and a failed compressor otherwise i'd be living in a RRS right now.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

My two penneth,

I would go older car, as long as it’s had the usual foibles sorted.
I bought an over 80k tdv8 5 years ago.
Turbos has been replaced, hand brake actuator and i had air suspension compressor changed and wishbones.
Now I’m coming up to 150k miles on the clock and car seems as good as gold.
Pupils like a goodun too.

I like the v8s a lot.
I also have a macan s d but that’s only a v6. Just not the same.

Only thing about the earlier model is they look a bit dated but doesn’t bother me either because I’ve got my weekend toy too which is a Boxster gts.

So if it’s well serviced and loved go with the oldun.
