Hi all

Well for the first time in 7 years there is not a Range Rover Sport on my driveway.

I had originally planned to trade in for a D5 Disco, but decided to sit back and see what happens over the next year or so regarding alternative fuels and electrification.

In the end I sold “Dixie” to a dealership up in Manchester for more than the trade in price offered by Land Rover and more than I had offered her to forum members for.

I will wait to see what the new Defender looks like, but I am in no hurry to buy another £70K+ car which will halve in value over 3 years.

In the meantime I have gone to the dark side and will plod around in what my wife affectionately calls “The old banger”
