Yes. I do all of that every time. I also check the weather day before on that day in the morning. We do have every day all-weather vehicles. Lol. I have a 2003 Ford transit connect and a 2007 Mercedes B200 B Class. I would admit that my actions aren't totally normal but I do have friends who are just like me. One of them is far, far worse than me. I guess I either have a bit of OCD or I spend so many hours detailing them that I just don't want so much of my work to be undone by driving in the rain. Also, growing up we had nothing. I feel privileged to own such cars - even though they are aren't new and were never purchased new. Today I spent 5 hours on the RRS. Washing (spray foam), drying, claying, cutting, polishing then waxing. The funny thing is that I only washed and polished it yesterday. Lol Today I wanted to clay it as I could feel the contamination on the paint surface. At first, I was just going to do the bonnet, but ended up claying the whole car! I couldn't just leave it there. I had to do more, so I ended up doing a very quick detail. It has produced amazing results. Remember, I have only had this RRS just over a week! Lol. Surely there are others like me here on this forum? RRS Supercharged Genuine HST |

No white deposits at all. Often you find the white deposits in polishes as they often contain chalk (which is the cutting agent). I don't know of any QD that leave white deposits. The Aldi XS is worth a try at £2.99. RRS Supercharged Genuine HST |

Detailers heaven. Btw, if I had a garage big enough, I would install a lift and use that lift to not only change my oils and other easy DIY stuff but to also clean underneath!. RRS Supercharged Genuine HST |

S'funny because, for me at least, the RRS is the ultimate all-weather vehicle. Sun, rain, snow - it's great in all of them. Mine is my every day vehicle and is out in all weathers and goes all sorts of places as I visit building sites. I don't wash / polish mine at all. It gets a jet wash now and then e.g. at a service or to remove big mud deposits if it's been off road. If I followed your routine, I'd have to get up an hour earlier every day to give me enough time to get the RRS ready before / cleaned up afterwards! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I understand you. Mine won't be used on a daily basis. It's more of a pleasure to own type vehicle. It will only be used at weekends. Lol. RRS Supercharged Genuine HST |
