Economical ding repairs

My mother has dinged her much loved 2005 Honda CRV by kissing a concrete bollard. It’s rear nearside door area. Anyone have suggestions for a repair method / service that would not necessarily be a full bodyshop-quality repair, but at least hide the worst of it and ensure rust does not set in? She is based in Cornwall and needs her car daily, so a mobile service would suit well.

All ideas welcome, thanks.

I am no specialist but from that picture ,
I would probably be looking for a replacement door,
and would then tackle the wheel arch scratch and repaint to a
reasonable level myself..

This guy is a large bit annoying but it should help you decide what
you want to do..

Good luck..

In my limited experience, preparation is the biggest part of any repair.. ===========================================

Try one of the franchise travelling repairers like Dentmaster or even Chipsaway, it is surprising what they can fix from the back of a van but do be warned these are franchises and quality of varies between them. My local Chipsaway is excellent but the next nearest one doesn’t get high praise from some people! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

We had good results when we used these people: https://revive-uk.com

Not sure if they have anyone in the right area but worth a try . . . . Current: 2020 P400e HSE Dynamic

Gone: 2016 SDV6 HSE

You can try to fix everything yourself, because there are a lot of videos on YouTube how to do it and my friends and I repaired things like that. But it is better to turn to professionals. Try any services associated with the machines, can help even firms like Firefly car rental Denver Colorado can provide services of a larger format.
