Oil pump tensioner

Is the Oil pump tensioner on the RRS 2.7 tdv6 the exact same as on the 3.6 tdv8 ? I ask this because of the problem I have been reading about with them braking/ snapping unexpectedly! I have the tdv8 3.6 so a little concerned!

3.6 is chain drive. Doesn't suffer the same issues as the 2.7 Thumbs Up
