The Autowatch Ghost-II CAN immobiliser

Hello all you knowledgeable Guys and Gall's,,

So I have been reading and watching all the info I can find on this immobiliser,
but I have one question,

If it is so good at stopping someone with the key but not the button code from starting
or driving away your pride and joy, why does every advert suggest that you should combine
this system with a good Tracker?

If they cant drive it then why would you need a tracker as well,
are they not that unsure its not going to be beaten and as so they suggest a tracker to go with this??

Is there a cheap tracker with no monthly cost that would be usable with one of these things?

Thank you for your advise.. ===========================================

Could it be that you don't actualy need to drive it away to steal it, could use a trailer or recovery truck so a tracker will do what's required and track it if moved without keys, only a thought.

Cheers

Can Track are currently the best devices out there...they are battery powered and thus need no have obvious wires giving away their location....
Most of the top construction companies are using this product to protect their plant...

Deep bury it somewhere, headrest, seat squab, headlining etc......

The Ghost is a brilliant bit of kit....I use it and it works superbly....

I had a Tracker with Fob in my last car and it was a pain in the a$$. I now have a ghost and a separate tracker, the ghost is a brilliant bit of kit. I did have an issue when they installed it but they soon came out and sorted it and never had a problem since.
