Has anyone heard of the dipstick being dislodged perhaps by pressure in the engine? It's an 08 3.6 TDV8.
I'm trying to figure out an oil leak I've had, it seems to have come from the area of the dipstick, and when I first checked it wasn't seated correctly; it was sat up by about 1cm.
It could always have not been relocated correctly when it was last serviced about 3 months ago and been losing oil from the gap every time I've driven it.
