I’ve got a Meguires MT320 machine polisher which also have 75mm backing plate for smaller areas,,I used a green pad with Meguires ultimate compound.

Just need to do the rest of the car once I’ve had a few stone chips sorted that the dealer made a up of. Andy.

I had mine done by a local body shop after they became crazed. They are a very poor design with such soft black plastic. Very hard to keep them looking good. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

I might just give mine a ceramic coating on the door pillars & leave it in my workshop over night to cure. Andy.

I found the RRS use of cheap parts on a very expensive luxury car a big disappointment.

BKHK,i totally agree with you,it is a very por design for a top end motor, mine has the stealth pack with the matt black mirror cover, matt black lettering, matt black vents side & bonnet plus tow eye covers,it would have been better if they had also done the pillars & roof in matt black. Andy.
