Goodbye Evoque, Hello Sport

I have been lurking on here for a while, asking the occasional inane question, just trying to get a feel for the RRS experience.

Until today I had owned a 2013 RR Evoque Dynamic Lux 2.2d, a car I loved but felt it was a little small and slightly underpowered. So I traded her in at Inchcape Southampton for an RRS.

My RRS is a 4.4ltr V8 diesel Autobiography. She is approx 20 months old with 13k on the clock and most importantly is not one of the 50 shades of grey that most modern LR vehicle seem to be (inc my old Evoque). She is Aintree Green with charcoal seats with light (ivory?) door tops, dash and wheel centre. This hopefully is a long term vehicle......

Let the RRS experience begin

Nice unusual colour. One I'd be happy with in place of my grey one. Embarassed Laughing

It'll be a very different drive to your old Evoque. Hopefully you'll have good luck with it. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Love the colour. I had a 2012 evoque for 3 years as a company vehicle in green then changed jobs and bought the RRS.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Just be warned, after 23 years and some hefty off road use metallic dark green can loose its sparkle..... this was Epsom Green Metallic, now Epsom Green in fashionable Satin or Matte finish with added battle scars, pine needle, gorse and tree branch stub indents Cool it looks great wet or muddy though. I don’t expect we will see many 23 year old RRS’s with this finish in a few years time!

Thank you every one, I am loving the car, the colour is in my opinion superb. I am trying to work out the toys, having great fun with ACC expecially it pulling me to a stop and then moving on again.

Still waiting for in control to be activated by the dealer, they say there are problems with LR activating them.

Most of all looking forward to getting my personal plates on it.
