He realised that I'm a pikey and he didn't want to use escrow, western union or help he cash a cheque for £7 million dollars! Laughing

Only kidding!

He wants to go for the paint the mirror route which is 100% fine by me Wink

Well I've got to get that door panel resprayed at some point soon. If I'm going to do it I might as well do the RRUK version. But then I will have to be really careful squeezing past lorries etc.....so not decided. Confused TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Yes, that's true Envoy, bushes do even scratch the matt black. Still, with enough coats of lacquer when colour-coding, you can polish-out the casual scrapes! Neutral

I am not talking about occasional scrapes unfortunately, it really does make a mess of the door mirrors, it might have something to do with the speed i drive at though, even the matt black mirrors are scratched on mine, not to bad yet by my old RR was Censored  some of my Previous cars

My original plain matt black mirrors had a few scuffs on the upper section anyway so that was part of the reason I opted for the colour-coded caps. I dont think the CC'd ones look worse that MB when scuffed, but, as they're both going to need painting again at some time, you might as well bite the bullet and get 'em CCd (make sense.., probabaly not)? Confused

It was LR chrome caps that I first started with before colour-coding..., doesn't look classy, too blingy! Sad
