SVO (SVR) Build Process Question

I seem to recall reading that SVO vehicles are built with standard kit along the assembly line and upon completion are taken to the SVO center where the standard pieces are replaced by SVO pieces. An example would be seats and bumpers. My understanding is the SVO bits are all added after the fact not along the assembly line. Is this accurate? And, does the same hold true for the Meridian Signature Sound System 1700 watt headliner? Is the standard headliner replaced by the 1700 watt system at the SVO center?

I ask because I’ve had my SVR 19.5 for 4 months and: front bumper is misaligned causing the grill corner to pop out repeatedly, headliner dropping in front right corner, and upper seat cooling does not work. I think all of these items that arent right are related to the SVO process. Beginning to think I purchased a Friday afternoon SVR. Understanding the build process will help me in the conversations with my dealer who won’t have a clue how they are assembled.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

Hey mate,

As far as I'm aware the only thing SVO do on the RRS SVR is the paint everything else is on the standard production line.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong !

(also hate to be the guy to tell you but that sounds like typical Solihull build quality Sad) Non JLR Vehicle

I went to see mine get built

The car went down the production line with a standard bonnet which was then changed by SVO to the carbon SVR bonnet.

As for seats and bumpers etc they are all fitted during the standard build with every other car on the line.

Thanks for the feedback. Appears LR have gotten organized enough not to take buts off and replace them in the SVO center like the video.
