They will not cause any damage or issues, will improve ride quality a little, look better as they fill the arches more and will make no difference to the speedo accuracy, in fact will probably make it more accurate.

Just make sure you change them all at the same time though.If you only change 2 on same axle you could do serious damage. Andy.

Yes, you should inform your insurer and get confirmation in writing that the mod has been declared and accepted.

I actualy told my insurance company what I had done when car in the UK. just listed it under modification/alterations etc. never made any difference to premium.

Yep, that’s all you need to do, declare the change and if accepted, then it’s all ok. |

last October I swapped my Michelin 275/40/20 summer tires for Goodyear Ultra Grip 275/45/20 winters. No problem at all.
