Pad's or shoe's pads are fine as i have done mine but to do the shoe's you need to make sure the hand brake is fully off so easier with a diagnostic tool i did my with out on my Disco3 |

the procedure to fully release the handbrake shoes is listed in the operator manual.

Do a search for Bodsy's brake bible. Full info on how to do it all. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
