Ireland 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
Wheel Choice Stormer or normal 20"

Hi list, I'm due to take delivery of a 07 RRS HSE TDv8 on Tuesday. Its fitted with a launch pack including "stormer" alloys, which I think are carrying Pzero Pirellis. I have been driving a Tdv6 with 20" running conti's. I've been reading about how easy it is to damge the stormers and away from the main roads here in ireland we get a lot of dodgy stuff, potholes, ruts etc. Was wondering if I should change to the 20" from the demo HSE with the conti's. They seem to have a better sidewall.

any suggestions?

PS: Have JE done an exhaust set for the TDv8 yet? RRS HSE TDV8 Java black/Ebony interior, mud flaps,20" stormers, towing, roofrack, sunroof, cooler V8 Tasmods Sills, black badges, carstyling java black vents

Hi Boatmad

Welcome the forum

As Miserey and Chex said, keep the stormers and change the tyres, put a wider tyre on that should save you money over fitting new wheels and also save your wheels, Stormers do look very nice. Thumbs Up

When my tyres need changing i will swap them for 295s some of my Previous cars

I have Hankooks, and they seem ok, not as good as the Perellis i used to have on my M5, but i only used to get about 9K out of them, Dont expect great results in the snow and mud out of these tyres, if you want a good all round on and off road tyre go for something like the MTs, but not on stormers, i dont even think the go that big.

I have had the sports sliding on some tight bends in the wet on the Hankooks, but it is a motor that weighs in at nearly 3 tons some of my Previous cars
