Replacing rear pads/rotors

Hello all!

So, I've done a bit of digging around, looked at the bible, but I'm not finding the answers I'm asking, so I figured I'd ask to see if you fine folks could fill me in.

What I have is a 2017 Range Rover Sport. I need to replace rear pads/rotors. My plan was to raise the vehicle, place it in neutral with it running, EPB, disconnect sensors from the motors, then turn vehicle off.

Then from my understanding I can remove the motors from each side and manually turn the "screw" back until it removed pressure from the piston so that I'll have enough clearance to install the new pads.

Now please correct me if I'm wrong along any of my steps here.

My biggest questions is, once I've done all of these steps, do I need to manually "screw" it back in until it touches the piston again? Or will it automatically adjust to where it needs to be once it re-engages once everything is hooked back up?

Please any guidance here will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everyone! And if I missed a post that has all of this information already in, I apologize greatly!
