Have you tried putting the system on recirculate and de-humidifying the air inside the car. If you have a sunroof check the drains aren’t blocked which will make the carpets damp and they can hold a lot of water - check the footwells for damp carpets. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I remember having this problem on a car I had many years ago,, windows used to steam up when the car had warned through. Problem was a leaking heater matrix ( very small radiator). This is usually buried, never to be found, so not so easy to check for leaks. Steamy windows certainly points at a water leak of some kind, and I'm sure there is one located on my particular model,, I would guess yours would be the same. It wouldn't take a massive leak to cause a problem and would probably go unnoticed otherwise. If you could source a drawing of the system you may be able to see where a leak ( if any) may be coming from. 2010 RRS, TDV8

Never had any issues whatsoever with misty windows on mine, not even in the worst conditions, it was an aspect of the car I could not fault.

I would search for a heater layout,, just for your own ammo if your going to go back to landrover. As I said a small leak directly in the matrix will produce moist air when the matrix heats up. The blowers blow air through the matrix to warm the interior,, along with moist air if it is leaking. If you look on the advanced factors site you will see a basic layout of the heating system for the L320 model just to give you an idea. 2010 RRS, TDV8

Just noticed this appears to be an issue on Velar forums.

This seems to have a bit air time on the D3 site also. Have a look on utube,, there is a video of matrix removal,, just search for Rangerover sport heater matrix,,, do the same on Google and you will get plenty of pics to look at,, might not be exactly yours but it won't be too different. If you go back to the dealer they should be able to pressure test the system to check for leaks,, lots of hoses etc and not all are visible,, as is the matrix so a visual check may not pinpoint anything. But saying that if it is a leaky matrix that is causing your problem I doubt you would see it anyway. 2010 RRS, TDV8
