Even if the warranty wont cover it, I’m sure an exhaust shop can fix it or make a stainless one. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

I believe that a new one is about £600, and is a right pig to fit. They fail at the "flexible" bit, a cause of which can be when disturbed (e.g transmission work) the mechanic doesn't always re-fasten the supporting bolts on top. Has your daughter had any work done in that area?

A quick Google suggests it's not £600 for the pipe - unless you're buying from LR themselves. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

For what’s its worth, tell them your next vehicle will be purchased elsewhere as will your daughters! 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Further to some of the points raised the vehicle has not had any work carried out on the gearbox and I do not believe the plan is to lower it for the pipe change.

I’m not 100% sure but I think it’s before the turbos so that both banks of the engine power the turbo not just the one bank (or is the V6 a twin turbo?)

Thanks for the picture. It confirms my thoughts that this is supplied as part of the engine assembly.

No we did not get anywhere so she is seeking it and moving on to a VW Tiguan. Likewise I have had so many issues with my 2017 Autobiography I have placed a deposit on Porsche Cayenne.
