aaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggghhhhhhhhh

Bloody idiot in a 4X4 pick up ran into the back of my van this morning Twisted Evil Twisted Evil complete mess, doors, lights bumper etc and possibility of floor damage.
He said it was icy, well I stopped OK Confused he was also towing a bloody great big trailor which had big straw / hay bails on it so I think he may have been overloaded, hence reason he could not stop Evil or Very Mad
Insured with NFU under a commercial vehicle policy, what a load of c--p Twisted Evil they will supply me with a small courtesy car that I CAN'T use for business WTF Twisted Evil
Have ended up going through a non fault claims set up who will get me a van within 4 hours and will sort everything Razz
Already lost a days work and without spending a day swapping everything over from van to van I will be limited as to what I can do.

Will try and post some pics later.

Sorry for the rant, Mrs H is not at home so can't shout at anyone Laughing

Cheers guys, I am OK but my neck is getting a bit stiff this evening.

They dropped me off a 04 Transit, what a heap of c--p!

Other driver has admitted all blame and the claims service have taken it on so they now handle everything and they pay for all the van hire costs and even my excess. It also means that the repair gets started on more quickly in theory.

you absolute d*ck head.

you bl88dy tosser

you should have gone to the docter, for your neck, you probably have whiplash

and if you play it right you can get in excess of 40K for damages and they will have that paid within 2 years and you do not have to do anything for that other then going to the docter and telling him that your neck is soir and ou nave needles and pins in your hand and arm

sorry for the rant, but this is serious Censored and if you have it not looked after you maybe going to end in the Censored especially as a self-employed person

No need for this Havank Evil or Very Mad

I am not stupid, if I feel that I have whiplash I will get it checked out and noted. I know the sooner you do this the better but you do not have to do it the same day.

If I do have whiplash I will persue the claim but I do not agree with "playing it right" that is partly why this country is getting so stupid as far as health and safety / insurance is concerned. I know that some people would see this as a money making excercize but not me I am afraid.

This is exactly right Cliff !

Mrs MDP a couple of years ago [ at a previous school where she was Deputy Head ] was attacked/assaulted at knife point and had her car taken from her on the school car park 4.30pm [ floodlit as well ] Twisted Evil

The car was involved in a high speed police chase the following day - where upon it was involved in a major accident & subsequently written off [ audi TT ] Twisted Evil

The 2 culprits were wothout driving Licences / insurance etc = ok they are doing time ............. but as for Mrs MDP ...... it all had to get sorted via her own INS Twisted Evil No compensation for injuries/trauma etc etc

The whole system STINKS Twisted Evil Banging Head Twisted Evil Banging Head Twisted Evil Banging Head
