FBH Replacement - anything to look out for?

Hi all and Happy New Year.

I've got a dead FBH - WTTv2.14 says Interlock 2, STFL, 22h/reference resistance wrong. To save some time I got hold of a complete replacement unit from a rear-end shunt breaker and it's been sitting on my shelf in the garage for a few months. While I've got nothing better to do I thought I'd swap them over. The old one was made in 06/2005 and the new in 05/2007 so hope it will have some more life.

From what I've read on other posts here and on the Disco3 site, it's quite a simple changeover ensuring plugging the coolant pipes to prevent leakage after removing from the old unit and the same for the diesel feed.

So, to the questions:

    1. Is there anything else should I look out for/any gotchas?
    2. Do I really have to remove the wheel and wheel-arch liner or can I get away with being lazy with nimble fingers and steering on full lock? Or as I'm not changing the exhaust, can I disconnect it from inside the bonnet?
    3. Once completed, should I use the Webasto software to "line Prime" the diesel feed before running the WTT diagnostics test? [That sounds like an obvious one really].
    4. Where should I bleed the coolant circuit and when i.e. after running the WTT diagnostics or before? - the FBH seems to be high up on the coolant circuit so I'd expect an air bubble to remain inside the FBH rather than be pushed around to the next highest point

Thanks in advance as always.

'tang.
