If you mean in the cabin then you certainly know it's been on with 10 minutes running, the full 20 minutes can be nice and comfortable but of course this is all weather temperature related. If the FBH is firing up and producing smoke, then give it a while to sort itself out and get going. It does take a short while to get up to temp.

I have found that I sometimes get lots of faults showing up after updating with the IID tool but once the car has been left for 10-15 mins it is ok and all faults have gone.
