My key was starting to self destruct for some reason (why can’t LR make keys that last!). Two minutes on eBay declared this a genuine LR item so ordered and swapped my key casing. Looks miles better and as easy as changing the battery

As you can see the old key had a coating that was starting to peel up. The new one has a gloss back.
