Personally I wouldn’t touch one,,ok it might be cheaper to purchase but if you were to make a claim just remember the insurance have already paid out on the vehicle so expect 2 3rd’s of the value of the car. Also it will be harder to sell on,even straight cars are hard to sell.

We are keeping the next car for 10 years The car is valued at £17k but I can get to for £11k which is the right price as its a 2015 plate.

I thought you was on with getting a 15plate RRS but obviously not.i suppose at 11k & your keeping it that long it won’t really matter.

Worth buying just to use it as an off road toy, won’t matter if you get it bashed and scratched, just have to watch the crank doesn’t choose to snap in the middle of nowhere! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I read that the new alloy steel used to build the newer Range Rovers and Land Rovers was extremely difficult to weld and for that reason new vehicles that look to have simple and repairable damage are being scrapped. If you do buy it, I’d be tempted to have an independent vehicle engineer inspect and certify the vehicle to ensure it has been correctly repaired.

Just to be clear, if you are paying £11k for a 2015 cat D then it will be stolen!

This may or may not be a good deal. But I would set aside £2k for psychotherapy, because I think you’ll need the emotional support in year 2 of ownership. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
