Front power socket not working

Ok well, 7motnths of not working and its finally getting at me enough to sort it....

The front power/cigar lighter socket in the central console is not working. the one in the rear passenger compartment and boot are both working.. is this one controlled by a separate fuse by any chance?

In my 2008MY TDV8 all the outlets are separately fused. The 'lighter' socket is fuse number 55 (and is 15 amps rating) in the passenger compartment fusebox. Before you change it - check for presence of small coins in the lighter socket.
Mine has blown a couple of times for no obvious reason. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Thumbs Up Interesting my Owners Handbook says no fuse in position 53, however out of curiosity looked at car and both 52 & 53 have fuses fitted for the cigar lighter.

Cheers
