Used RRS - newer but higher miles vs older but lower miles??

Need to replace our RRS that was written off by the bin wagon!

We are looking at a 61 plate 3.0lt which has the new 8 gear box and the dial rather than stick shift with 118k miles on clock against a 10 or 59 plate with 95k (or over) miles on clock.

Which is the better option? Prices are similar but what do we need to watch for between the two versions as the 61 plate is the SDV6 against the TDV6?

Would the higher miles put you off having the newer facelift and 8 gear box? What are the pro’s and con’s need to be aware of?

I would go for the SDV6 much better engine so I've heard. Cheers Laurence.

As there is not much difference in the miles between the two I would probably get the newer one all other aspects being equal. 07MY RRS TDV6

Thank you! We got the newer one!

Just had news today that our RRS has gone for decision as to whether to repair or write off and it will be another 10 working days before decision made! We may have 2 RRS in the next 2 weeks! Lol! Laughing
